    Instruction to the students


     
    • Students who wish to apply for the courses can obtain prospectus from the Office on payment of Rs. 50 in cash. Students can also download the Prospectus, Registration form from our website.

    • Students should affix a recent passport size photo and should fill the application form properly. Along with the application form the students should submit attested copies of the leaving certificate (Transfer certificate) 10th and 12th, Marks sheets of 10th and 12th class, caste certificate, validity certificate, certificate of persons with disability, ex-serviceman certificate for admission to
      B. Sc. I year

    • Students belonging to NT-A, B, C, D/OBC/SBC categories should attach Non-creamy layer certificate of the current financial year.

    • Candidates applying under reserved categories should also attach attested copies of caste certificates / validity certificates.


    • For admission to B. Sc. First Year, 5 seats are reserved for students other than Maharashtra State.

    • For admission to B.Sc, the aggregate marks of 12th standard will be considered. In case of a tie, marks of science subjects(PCM/PCB) as depicted in 12th marksheet will be considered. Even if there is a tie, it will be broken by considering the marks in 10th standard.


    • Admission to M. Sc. Forensic Science course, The admission to M.Sc. Forensic Science course for the academic year 2017-18 has to be through a Centralized Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad. No admission to these courses will be carried out without the CET. To register online for CET, kindly go through the link www.bamu.ac.in/pgcet2017 . Last date for registration is 3rd of July 2017. The CET will be conducted on 10th of July 2017. It will be a MCQ based test as per the syllabus of B.Sc. Forensic Science approved by Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad.     • Students applying for PG. Diploma courses should read carefully the eligibility criteria mentioned in the prospectus and should choose the Diploma course and should submit all the relevant documents along with the mark sheets of Graduation course.


    • Duly filled application form, along with above mentioned certificates and a D.D. of Rs. 150/-( Registration fees Rs. 100/- and Prospectus Rs. 50/-) drawn in the favour of "The Director, Govt. Institute of Forensic Science, Aurangabad" Payble at Aurangabad,Maharashtra should be submitted by post/by hand to the Institute (Office Address:- The Director, Govt. Institute of Forensic Science, Nipat niranjan Nagar, Caves Road, Aurangabad 431004).

    • Incomplete Registration forms/forms without DD will not be considered. The details of admission process will be updated on our website from time to time. The schedule of admission procedure will be made available on the website shortly.
